What does a Sunday Morning look like?

Our students are welcomed by our staff and Bible Study teachers, and then hang out and talk before we get started.  They can just catch up on their week, enjoy the breakfast buffet, and have a great time.

We then spend some time in worship, led by our staff worship leader, Craig Rigney and his band.  Read more about our band members on the Student Ministry Worship page.  This is a powerful time of focus  and readiness for what is going to be taught. 

A master lesson is taught by Michael and then we split up into small groups by grade and gender to go deeper into the lesson.

Our Middle School students meet at 9:30 a.m.  High School meets at 11 a.m.

What are our students learning in Bible Study? 

Our students will be exposed to the remarkable story of the New Testament Church in a variety of ways. As you journey throughout the year, our students will be challenged to learn with their heads, their hearts, and their hands.

Our students will constantly be challenged to learn about the early Church with their head-to learn what they need to know about the Church. This type of learning is all about a basic understanding of Scripture. But students will be challenged to go beyond simple understanding, moving to application of what they have learned.

Our students will also be challenged to learn about the New Testament church with their hearts-to allow God to transform their feelings as they look at His Word. What our students know about the early Church members should affect them emotionally, not just mentally; they should learn to value the things of God.

Occasionally, our students will be challenged to learn with their hands-to learn what they should be able to do as a result of their study of Community. Students will be able to apply a specific skill or discipline after studying the New Testament Church.

We believe that our students will be better grounded and more engaged in the life of the church community as a result of this life-changing study.
