The Secret to Becoming a Great Wife

However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

HOW TO BUILD YOUR HOME ON THE FOUNDATION OF RESPECT

Come under your husband’s protection and leadership.
For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church.  Ephesians 5.22-23 (NLT)

Concentrate on real beauty.
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. Affirm your husband’s strengths.
Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.  Proverbs 21.9

A wife of noble character is her husband's crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.  Proverbs 12.4

Care for the needs of your husband.
A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.  Proverbs 31.10-12

Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.  I Peter 3.1-2
