Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit. Psalm 32.1-2
When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Selah Psalm 32.3-4
Guilt
Guilt, by definition is “the feeling of responsibility or remorse for some offense, crime, wrong.”
Condemnation
Condemnation leads to shame, depression and hopelessness
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. Revelation 12.10

Conviction
Conviction leads to confession, forgiveness and hope
When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment. John 16.8
Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD " - and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah Psalm 32.5
