Name the person and the pain

Make a choice to forgive
•  "Forgiveness is releasing the offense to God

Pursue reconciliation when possible
•  "We have a responsibility to reach out and seek restoration

Reconciliation requires repentance
•  "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.”    Luke 17.3
•  If the person is hostile and reconciliation is not possible, forgive but remove yourself.
•  If the person is hardened and reconciliation is not possible, forgive and release them. 
•  If the person is humbled and reconciliation is possible, forgive and restore the relationship.
