2009 Year-to-Date Contribution Statements were sent by email this past week.  Many received two statements per couple.  As you may know, FBCC changed software databases beginning with the new church year in April.  January-March 2009 giving was converted into the new database and attached to the male head of household.  Beginning in April, we gave credit to both spouses which resulted in the two statements.  Unfortunately, for 2009 only, we cannot combine these into one statement.  For "Designated" giving for the first quarter we were not able to distinguish on your Contribution Statement what type of designated gift was given.  With the new system beginning April 1, you will be able to confirm that your designated dollars were applied correctly - whether to Thrive, Missions, etc.  If you had trouble reading the attachment, please try to print the statement.  Many of you have your bank mail checks or pay online.  When these contributions are received, they are held until the next Monday and then recorded.  Our new system also scans each check and makes a copy for our database, giving us greater levels of accountability for God's money.  Some of you will see "check would not scan" listed on your statement.  That simply means we do not have a scanned copy of that particular check in our records.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at or call 817.281.4158 ext. 222.
