Action Needed!

The Colleyville Courier has reported that Sigel's Fine Wines and Great Spirits has made application to sell alcohol and occupy the entire first floor of the newly constructed facility next door to our Jungle Children's Building, which houses hundreds of FBC kids on Sunday and during the week.  We do not feel this would be in the best interests of the families that attend FBCC and Sonshine Academy.  Please take a moment during the next few days to write a letter to the City of Colleyville expressing your opinion on this issue, or you may make your voice heard in person at the Planning & Zoning meeting at City Hall on Monday, July 26 at 7:00 pm.  Please direct correspondence to:

Recommendations by August 1 
 
Nominations are now being received for new members to our Leadership Council, or to one of our four additional councils, for service to begin October 1.  Recommendation forms are available at the Information Desk and are due by Sunday, August 1.  To download a form from our website, click here.

backpack (not ad)Backpacks for Kids!

Backpack Blast, our gift of backpacks and school supplies to 500 needy kids in the Mustang Drive area, will take place on Saturday, August 14.  We will gather in The Vineyard at 9:00 am for instructions.  More details to follow!  For more information, contact Dale Molden at 
Dead Week 
 
The week of July 26-30 has been designated "dead" week around the FBC campus, meaning no events will occur on the campus on Wednesday night, or during Monday-Friday of that week.  However, the Church Offices will be open during normal business  hours. 
Membership Class 
 
Guests are encouraged to register for our Membership Class to be held on Sunday, July 25 at 11:00 am in the Next Step Suite.  To register, contact Jeff Repass at .
