4 Weeks To Go!Thrive logo

Thank you for giving $33,456 last Sunday to the Thrive Project .  The total gifts now stand at $3,219,420 toward our goal of $3,510,000. The remaining needed by Sunday, May 1, is only $290,000!  The new student center and multi-purpose building will house up to 500 in worship, 200+ in classrooms, and provide banquet capacity of 350+.  Ground breaking will occur on Sunday, May 1, at the end of both morning services.  Don't miss this day!

Men's Breakfast 1Men's Breakfast Saturday

The next Men's Breakfast is this Saturday, April 9, at 7:30 am in The Vineyard.  Associate Minister David Fedele will be our guest speaker.  Donations for the breakfast are accepted, and no reservations are necessary.

Yard Crosses for Easter Easter yard cross

Beautiful white yard crosses will be available in the Worship Center foyer beginning this Sunday, April 10.  Join thousands of other families in the DFW area by positioning these crosses in your yard, and then turn them around  on Easter morning so that the message, "He is Risen" is displayed for all to see!

 Heaven's RainAt the Movies!

Heaven's Rain, an amazing  portrayal of tragedy and forgiveness, will be shown free of charge in our Worship Center on Friday, April 22, at 7:00 pm.  An offering will be received.  This incredible story on film received an R-rating due to flashbacks to a crime scene involving a minor.  Students under age 17 should not attend unless accompanied by a parent; however, no vulgarity or sexual scenes are portrayed.  About 50 of our church leaders and pastors have previewed this powerful movie.  Activities for kids 4th grade and younger will be provided in The Jungle and Baby Jungle during the movie.  Childcare reservations are required by Sunday, April 17.  No exceptions, please.  To make childcare reservations, contact Laura Scheufler at .
Easter @ First

Our special guest on Easter Sunday is Brooks Douglass, an Oklahoma attorney and former state senator, whose parents died during the tragedy protrayed in Heaven's Rain.  As a special treat, each person attending on Easter will receive a copy of Pastor Craig's new book, Red Key.  We begin the Easter season on April 17 with the Lord's Supper and a special music presentation, I Remember.
