My vary Special Dad!
My dad is vary special to me. We go on trips and do other fun stuff too. One time we went to Key West and fished way out in the ocean. Usually in the summer he takes us tubing. It’s really fun! Also another thing we do is stay home and play board games. But… sometimes I have to be patient while my dad works. Even though my dad works and sometimes we don’t get to see him as often, he does it because he loves his family and needs to pay for all the trips we go on!

Joanna Lambert (6th Grade)
The reasons I love my dad are numerous. I love my dad when we have our pointless talks. I love him when I read stories about people without dads. I’m so grateful that I have him. If I didn’t have him, who would fix the computer & tv? Who would care enough to punish me so I don’t do it again? Most of the time I dislike it when he forces me to do things against my will, but deep down I know it’s for the future. He said he knew someone whose kid just went to college. He’s just now learning how to do the chores dad makes me do now. Everything he does is for my good, so that way I’m prepared for the not so far away future. Deep down I am grateful, but I just don’t want to admit it at times. Thank you, dad. These are just a few of the reasons why I love you.

Joshua MacKaron (4th grade)
Why I love my dad
Without my dad, I would be like a cow without a farmer. I would be a lost cow, but thankfully God provided a dad, a very good dad. A farmer like him would have a bunch of healthy cows. He even goes to work so we can live in a beautiful house! It doesn’t stop there he spoils us with all these treats, buys us nice cloths, and gets us nice food to eat.  He’s talented too. He’s good at golf, writing, math, and plenty of other fun things. Like I always say, a good dad equals a good child.

Katie Riley (5th Grade)

He makes the best of my days. I love him because he loves God and he puts him first, and I’m proud of him. He is there at almost every one of my events. He is truthful and never lies to me. He is thoughtful for me and everyone in our family. He has many talents and uses them for me. One is patience. He has lots of it. He always tries to keep his cool. I’m grateful for that and I love him for trying. He is also good at surprises. When he does do them he thinks whats best for the family. I love him very much and I’m proud to call him my father.

I Love my Dad
I am a lucky girl, am lucky to even have a dad that takes me places. Even cares and loves me. Some kids don’t even grow up or have a dad, but some kids have a dad nut their dad may not take them places. That’s why I entered this contest because I do love my dad because, He get me haircuts, buys me stuff that I really love, and most of all he prays about me! He prays when I’m sick he’ll tell lord that I’m alright and that he loves me inside and out. So that’s why I love my dad and why I entered this “I Love My Dad Contest.”

Makaylia McDonald (5th grade)
My Dad
My dad is not like others. He is unique, different and like how God made us, one of a kind. The 3 main things my dad likes to do are spending time with his daughter, swim ( or anything that involves water) and to ride motorcycles. My dad is really tall (6’4) and he is really strong! He has a beard and a mustache. He looks to be my older brother! Jokeing around and because because he scared me is what you hear in the house. My dad has a weird way of explaining stuff. Like if I ask him a question he will try to explain it but then he can’t so he goes on saying “When I was your age we didn’t have this or that so be grateful for what you have.” My dad is a wonderful dad. If he ever feels like I got mad at him or if he got mad at me we try to work it out or just talk it out. And that is what my dad is like.

My Friend, Mr. Al
Mr. Al is a great dad.  I think Mr. Al is a great dad because he helped raise his kids and his wife's kids by loving and caring for them.  He also works for free, to dig water wells in mainly Central America.  While he was digging wells in India, he fell  in love with the kids at the Beulah Home and stared helping them like a dad would.  He's not really my real dad but my real dad ran away.  But, he does fun things with me.  He hugs and comforts me like a great, awesome dad.  He's awesome.

Madeline Hampton (4th Grade)
I love my dad because when I get scared or I think there’s a monster under my bed, he says “No monster going to hurt MY baby girl”.

When I say “I love you” to him he always says “I love you” back. When I am ready to be tucked in, I call my dad to come upstairs.  He respects me by saying “yes ma’am” or “yes boss”.  I love my dad in so many ways but the biggest reason why I love my dad is that if I get hurt or if I make a mistake, he gives me a kiss and he says, “No matter what happens, you will always be my favorite girl!”

Michelle Sheng
I love my dad because he puts me to bed at night and I can snuggle with him.  We pray together and I feel safe.
I love my dad because he gives time to me if I need help, and he gives me attention.
I love my dad because he lets me use his putter to practice getting the golf ball into the hole.
I love my dad because when we dance together, he will sometimes let me stand on his toes.
I love my dad because he sometimes plays soccer with me in the driveway.
But most of all, I love my dad because he's a good dad.
