LEADERSHIP RECOMMENDATIONS
2010-2011 Church Year

INSTRUCTIONS:
Active members of FBCC may recommend other members which our Nominating/Serving Team will consider for service on the various teams/committees listed below. Recommendations are due by Sunday, August 1 and are to be dropped off at the Information Desk, in the offering bags, in the wooden boxes or at the Church Office.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SERVICE:
Members suggested for service must meet the following qualifications to be     considered for service: 

• an active member and faithful in worship for at least two years
• faithful participant in volunteer service in the church
• faithful in biblical giving with the tithe as a benchmark
• demonstrate spiritual maturity & active in small group or ABF
• possess a godly reputation in the view of other believers
• supportive of the pastors, deacons, and Leadership Council
• willing to provide a written testimony of his or her spiritual journey (if asked)

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:
Members may not suggest or nominate themselves or an immediate family member.  Employees of FBCC and their immediate family members are not eligible to serve on the Leadership Council. All members who are suggested for service will be contacted to see if they are willing to be considered. Please give prayerful consideration in evaluating the biblical and spiritual character traits possessed by those whom you may feel led to suggest.

NOTE:
A slate of members nominated for service and enlisted by our Nominating/Serving Team will be presented to the church family for consideration at the Annual Business Gathering in September. Each member on these teams will serve a three-year term
